Building your foundation. Building your confidence.
About Cornerstone Legal
Cornerstone Legal was founded on the belief that everyone should have access to high quality estate and business planning services and solutions that meet their needs and their budget. My mission is to provide each of my clients with exceptional legal services that form a solid foundation for their future. I take pride in my ability to demystify estate planning and I strive to educate clients as I guide them through each decision they make.
I offer estate planning, trust administration, probate administration, and business planning for individuals, couples, families, and businesses. My services are available both virtually and in person. I have virtual platforms available for us to use or we can arrange to meet in person at a location of your choosing. I am more than happy to travel to your home or place of business, or we can arrange for a comfortable and private space elsewhere. Offering services in this way allows me to keep my overhead low and pass along those savings to you. I am also able to provide services to a broader market of clients with ease.
About Attorney Katrina Hofstetter

My name is Katrina Hofstetter and I founded this firm after spending over 13 years working as a legal assistant in a small estate planning firm. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as the passion to use what I have been blessed with to help others. The amazing relationships that I was able to build, as well as the ability to see how estate planning changed peoples lives, inspired me to go to law school and start my own firm.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Ferris State University and received my Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
My husband Ryan and I live in the Lansing area with our three boys Rowen, Carsten, and Fallon. We are members and leaders of the Lansing Area Church of Christ. We enjoy exploring northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, visiting zoos and museums, and playing board games.
